THE BEST Indoor Things to Do in Yea on a Rainy Day. 1. Yea Wetlands Discovery Centre. Within walking distance to shops and also marks the entry to the wetlands walk which is beautiful. Well worth stopping! 2. Yea Winery Cidery and Brewery. Ciders and Wines were also good. Ginger Beer was good also.

Cheviot Tunnel: Cheviot tunnel is a key piece of Yea's history. The tunnel was a part of the Tallarook to Mansfield line which operated between 1883 and 1978. The tunnel was constructed using handmade clay bricks from a clay pit near the tunnel, a staggering 675,000 of them. Today the tunnel is open as a part of rail trail and the ground inside.
