Corn Hill Navigation

Group & Motorcoach Tours

Experience the beauty and romance of the historic waterway that changed America from a unique vantage point as your group cruises the Erie Canal and Genesee River aboard the Sam Patch packet boat or Mary Jemison riverboat.

Departing from Schoen Place in the historic village of Pittsford, Sam Patch takes you past charming canal-side communities, natural sanctuaries of wild iris and great blue heron, and through a century-old canal lock for the signature Erie Canal experience.

Historic wooden vessel Mary Jemison docks at the Genesee River's Corn Hill Landing, a new riverside development in downtown Rochester's prestigious Corn Hill neighborhood. The cruise takes you through Genesee Valley Park, designed by celebrated landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted; and past picturesque Mount Hope Cemetery, resting place of visionary activists Frederick Douglass and Susan B. Anthony. Enjoy a spectacular view of the Rochester city skyline as you return to port.
