Welcome to Corn Hill Navigation

The 2012 season opens in early May and runs through late October!

Corn Hill Navigation gift certificates, books, and our new Navigation Passes make wonderful gifts!

In 1825, completion of New York State's legendary Erie Canal connected the Hudson River at Albany with Lake Erie at Buffalo, creating the Empire State and opening the interior of the continent to settlement and commerce. A spectacular, heroic feat of engineering, the canal is considered by many to be the eighth wonder of the world.

Corn Hill Navigation is a not-for-profit corporation with a call to action vision to improve and sustain the Erie Canal and adjoining Genesee River for current and future generations through awareness, education and enjoyment.

Our principal activity is the operation of sister ships Sam Patch packet boat replica and historic wooden vessel Mary Jemison. These authentic tour boats embark from Pittsford and Rochester, New York, and provide unparalleled opportunities to experience history and enjoy relaxing getaways that showcase the beauty and ingenuity of America's celebrated Erie Canal.

Make a reservation today, or find out more about Corn Hill Navigation, our daily canal cruises, dinner cruises, private charterseducation programs and special events, and how you can become a partner in supporting our efforts.
